Support for anxiety, overwhelm, and feeling stuck.
Helping teens and young adults understand what they are feeling and learn how to manage it
When everything feels overwhelming
As a teen or young adult, it is completely normal to feel overwhelmed at times, especially when stress, anxiety, or sadness start to take over.
But even if things feel difficult right now, it does not have to stay that way.
I specialize in working with teens and young adults who feel overwhelmed or stuck and want to get to the root of their challenges so life can feel more manageable and even enjoyable again.
What I help with:
-
Anxiety
-
School avoidance
-
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
-
Depression and mood struggles
-
Emotional regulation and stress
-
Social challenges and relationships
-
Academic stress and test anxiety
My therapeutic approach
I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Together, we co-create goals that feel meaningful and manageable.
I also use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), which is the gold standard treatment for OCD. We use exposures to directly address fears and compulsions in a structured and supportive way.
My goal is to help you better understand your thoughts, build tools to manage anxiety, and feel more confident navigating everyday life.
What therapy looks like:
Therapy is a collaborative process.
In our sessions, we will:
Explore what you are experiencing
Identify patterns in thoughts and behaviors
Learn practical tools to manage anxiety
Build confidence in situations that feel difficult
We may not be able to fully control anxiety, but we can learn how to manage it so it does not take over your life.
